Hush is a private snap app for your closest circle. Snaps land on a home-screen widget that looks like an ordinary clock. A tiny yellow dot means one is waiting. Three quick taps reveal it, then it hides itself again.

    Click a photo

    Open Hush and tap the shutter. Snap a photo, record a 10-second video or pick one from your gallery, and add a caption.

    Pick Vanish or Stay

    Vanish shows once with a countdown, then it's gone. Stay sits on your friend's widget until you send the next one. You choose the view time and whether they can save it.

  3. 03

    It passes through, not stays

    The server is just a drop box. Your friend's phone downloads the snap and the server copy is deleted immediately — and never kept longer than 48 hours.

    A tiny yellow dot appears

    No loud notification. Their widget still looks like a plain clock, weather, calendar or photo frame — only they know the dot means a snap is waiting.

  5. 05

    Three quick taps

    Tap the widget three times and the disguise flips to reveal your snap, right on the home screen.

  6. 06

    …and it hides again

    After a few seconds the widget turns back into a clock. Vanish snaps are deleted from the phone too. Nobody glancing at the screen is any wiser.

Good to know.

Is it safe to install an APK from here?

Yes. It's the same signed build the developer publishes. Android asks once to allow installs from your browser — that's normal for any app outside the Play Store.

Does Hush work on iPhone?

Not yet. Hush is Android only, version 8.0 and up.

How do I update to a new version?

Download the latest APK from this page and install it over the old one. Your friends, snaps and settings stay where they are.

Can strangers find me?

No. There is no search. Friends are added only by scanning your QR code or entering your invite code, up to 10 friends.

What if my friend's phone is off?

The snap waits in the drop box. If their phone doesn't collect it within 48 hours, it's deleted for good.
